STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI... The Final Poster and Trailer Are Here!

The final theatrical poster for STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI.

Just thought I'd share these images of the poster and final theatrical trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi...which were unveiled by Lucasfilm via social media and Monday Night Football on ESPN a few hours ago. These screenshots are only an inkling of the amazing visuals that will be presented in the eighth episode of the Skywalker saga—and don't do justice to the emotional moments featured in the 2-minutes, 34-seconds-long preview.

While piloting his sleek TIE Silencer, will Kylo Ren press the trigger and destroy the Resistance flagship that General Leia, his mother, is on? Will the raw power of the Force exhibited by Rey lead to her joining forces with Kylo at the end of the movie? Will the Battle of Crait (featuring AT-M6 AND classic AT-AT walkers) be as memorable as the Battle of Hoth from The Empire Strikes Back? Will the Porg, the penguin-like creature riding shotgun with Chewbacca aboard the Millennium Falcon during the movie, be as adorable as BB-8 and not a blatant cash-grab like the Ewoks or a pitiful attempt at comic relief a la Jar Jar Binks? And lastly, will Supreme Leader Snoke successfully torture Rey into getting her to submit to the Dark Side? (As Luke Skywalker says in the trailer: "This is not going to go...the way you think.") We'll see on December 15.

Though I, personally, will see The Last Jedi during an advance screening on December 14! (7:00 PM at the local AMC Theatre, to be exact.) Anyways, check out the trailer below these screenshots. And I hope you had a Happy Monday!
