THE DARK KNIGHT Has Been Immortalized by the Library of Congress...
Congratulations to director Christopher Nolan and his cast and crew on The Dark Knight for cementing a place in the National Film Registry today! The Dark Knight joins 24 others films—including The Hurt Locker, Shrek, The Joy Luck Club, Grease and A Clockwork Orange—as the newest cinematic inductees in the Library of Congress this year. There are now 800 movies whose legacies have been preserved by the largest library in the world...which is also America's oldest federal cultural institution. Well-done.
