Congratulations to Inde Navarrette for winning IMDb's "Breakout" STARmeter Award for Obsession!
This latest accolade comes about a week after Navarrette and Obsession writer/director Curry Barker returned to Canada and attended the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF)...where Obsession had its big screen premiere a year ago this month. It was at TIFF where Focus Features acquired the rights to the movie for around $15 million—and began the process of prepping Obsession for its phenomenal box office run this summer.
Next up for Inde: Her continuing to prepare for her role as Rogue in 2028's X-Men film and looking ahead to the sci-fi thriller The Waffle House Index. Next up for Curry: Continuing post-production on his next movie Anything but Ghosts and looking ahead to his third horror flick, which will be financed by Universal Pictures itself. Happy Hump Day!
